3.1 Sterilization and Disinfection

  • The Automatic Enema Pump is a non-sterile and reusable medical device, which needs to be cleaned and disinfected before being used for the first time.
  • The specific operation method is as follows:

3.1.1 Manual Cleaning (water temperature should be 15°C – 30°C)

  • a. Flushing: Flush the nozzle and water tank under flowing water to preliminarily remove pollutants.
  • b. Washing: After washing, if there are dry and solid stains, soak them in a medical cleaning agent first, and then scrub them with a clean soft cloth.
  • c. Rinse: After washing, rinse with flowing water.
  • d. Rinse with distilled or soft water.

3.1.2 Disinfection

  • Pour purified water at 93°C – 100°C into the water tank for disinfection for 1 minute, and use after drying.
  • StartBefore the first use, please fully charge the host, plug the power charging cable into the charging socket, and turn on the power. The product cannot be used while charging. (When charging, the indicator lights flash; when fully charged, the four indicator lights are always on).
  • Install and Remove the NozzleInsert the nozzle into the middle hole of the nozzle until it clicks. If replacing or removing the nozzle, press and hold the nozzle locking key, and then take out the nozzle.
  • Prepare Filtered Water and Water TankAdjust the filtered water to the appropriate temperature (37 – 40 degrees). A saline solution compatible with EnemaPro may be added if preferred, mix by stirring then screw the water tank on clockwise according to the prompts of the fuselage. Contact EnemaPro for Saline product recommendations.
  • Remove the Water TankHold the upper and lower parts with the left and right hands respectively, as shown in the figure, turn the EnemaPro pump to the right, and then pull it up to remove the water tank.

3.3 Startup and use

3.3.1 Usage for Colonic Irrigation and Constipation relief

  • Power On/Off: Press the switch button to turn the machine on or off.
  • Selecting a Mode: Use the mode button to choose from three settings:
  • Low (0.026 PSI): Provides a gentle flow, similar to a watering can, ideal for first-time users or sensitive needs.
  • Pulse (0.032 PSI): Offers intermittent water flow for enhanced colon stimulation at low pressure.
  • High (0.072 PSI): Delivers a stronger flow for users needing more intense relief.
  • EnemaPro starts in the standard mode upon powering on. New users are encouraged to start with Low to allow their body to adjust.
  • Preparing for Use: Apply a safe lubricant (silicone or water-based) to the nozzle or tube tip. Choose a comfortable position; EnemaPro can be used while standing or lying down. Slowly insert the lubricated nozzle or tube to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
  • Using EnemaPro: After insertion, water will flow according to the selected mode. Start in Low mode to introduce water gently, then adjust to Pulse or High as preferred.
  • Precautions: If any discomfort arises, switch back to Low or turn off the device briefly. Maintain a relaxed posture to help water reach the intended area smoothly. EnemaPro’s gentle pressure settings and versatile positioning make it a reliable tool for effective constipation relief.

Tips for use

First-Time Use:

  • Begin with the Low (0.026 PSI) setting for a gentle introduction. Once accustomed to EnemaPro, you may use the High (0.072 PSI) setting for a more thorough cleanse.
  • It’s important to remain relaxed throughout the process. Consider taking deep breaths and avoid clenching to facilitate water flow.

⚠️ Attention:

  • If water flow becomes obstructed or there is resistance, avoid increasing pressure to prevent potential discomfort or injury.
  • If water isn’t moving effectively through the colon or you feel any unusual pressure, discontinue use and allow the body to relax before attempting again.

⚠️ Warnings:

  • Monitor your body’s response to pressure during irrigation. If you feel discomfort or bloating, reduce to the Low setting or pause to let the body adjust.
  • If you experience significant discomfort during or after use, stop immediately and consult a healthcare provider for guidance.

By starting slowly and being mindful of these tips, you can use EnemaPro safely and effectively for colonic irrigation.

After use:

Do not use this product for more than 8 minutes each time. After washing, turn off the equipment, pour out the residual washing liquid in the water tank, and then pour about 100 mL clean water into the water tank. Turn on the machine until the clean water is used up, so as to avoid the corrosion and damage of the residual washing liquid in the machine to the interior of the machine.

4 Maintenance and cleaning of Automatic Enema Pump

4.1 Daily cleaning and maintenance, after each use:

  • After each use, turn off the equipment, pour out the residual saline in the water tank (if using), and then pour about 100 mL clean water into the water tank, and turn on the machine until the clean water is used up, so as to avoid the corrosion damage caused by the residual saline in the machine. Please pull out the plug or charging wire after use.
  • Wipe the external surface of the equipment with a soft wet cloth;
  • Do not use cleaning agent for the main pump.
  • If you want to clean the inner wall of the water tank, remove the water tank from the main engine and flush the water tank with running water.
  • Deposits left behind by non-recommended cleaning fluids can clog your machine. Only use clean water or Castile soap that is safe for humans.
  • Note: the use of some antibacterial cleaning solution may cause damage to the machine or shorten the service life of the product. Do not immerse the product in water.
  • After using the nozzle, please wash it with clean water / Castile soap and dry it.
  • Proper use of the EnemaPro’s battery is important for maintaining its longevity. Low battery power won’t cause immediate safety issues, but frequently using the device with a low charge can degrade the battery over time. To protect the battery, allow it to charge fully when recharging and avoid overcharging it.
  • When not in use for a long time, the battery should be in the state of partial charge;
  • Complete a charging cycle for lithium battery every month.

4.2 Check the product at least once a month, whether it is used regularly or not

  • Whether the product surface is damaged;
  • Whether the power supply charging line is damaged;
  • Whether the water pipes and nozzles are damaged or blocked;
  • Whether the detachable parts are lost and the socket is smooth.
